Hi guys, I was on the bird app(Twitter) yesterday where I came across a post. It was more of a question and it was asking about the craziest thing one has ever done for love/ in a relationship. Of course the post had lots of engagement as many people were sharing the craziest thing ever, but I don't think they are as crazy as mine...why? I'll tell you.
It was around past 8pm in the evening that year, when my then boyfriend called me out to see me, saying he misses me and stuff. I asked him to come over to our place, at least around the street just so I won't have to go all the way but he said no. I began to think of what to do and then I went to mom and told her I wanted to go change (buy) my earphones at the bus stop, then she decided to send me on her own errand while constantly saying I shouldn't be long and not answer to anyone who calls me at this time.
I set out and went straight to my boyfriend's where I spent so much time. Honestly I lost track of time because by the time I decided to leave for home, it was around few minutes to 10pm and I had missed two of mom's call. I rushed out of his room and set out for home, and started pondering on the perfect lie and then it hit me! There was this pothole filled with mud water because rain had fell the previous day, guess what guys!.....I intentionally fell in the water and had reasonable amount of dirt on me, then I stood up and as soon as I was close by to the house, I started limping!!
Immediately mom sets eye on me, she shouted in so much fear and pity for me, asking me series of questions of how and where all that happened whilst trying to clean me up and check if I have bruises and all. Guys I felt so guilty lying to my mom but then I knew what I was in for if I told the truth but I'm so not doing stuff like that ever again.
