Freedom of expression is the way to say what comes to my mind without ever being censored. Of course, this represents a great responsibility, since I can say what I want respecting the opinion of others.
I recently saw an account censored on the other blockchain, because it issued an opinion and was not viewed with pleasure. This should not happen on a blockchain that is said to be decentralized.
It is necessary to defend freedom of expression because it is the only way to be able to say, write, publish and expose our own thoughts without anyone's permission. This leads me to remember when in my native country, Venezuela, it was said that there was freedom of expression, but behind the scenes, there were repressions against the media, being threatened with taking away the concessions granted to broadcast. We cannot allow this type of actions to tarnish what has been so much work to obtain, and that history itself has shown.
I firmly believe that it was a wise step to break free from the imposed censorship of the chain where we have all started, and although there are still posts saying that such a thing as centralization would not happen, I have seen some accounts disappear in a matter of minutes.
I am glad to know that there are still spaces where to expose freely, it is a right. An inalienable right that has been granted to us simply by being born in freedom. I like the writing that says: "Freedom is taken inch by inch." Freedom takes a portion every day, gaining ground steadily until the goal is achieved.
