Little bugger watched the squirrels begging for nuts hahaha.
Our little Troy wanted a treat, looked at me and Marian here!
My post today is early, because we will have a power cut at 4 o'clock this afternoon. So, not only do we have incessant rain and cold, now we also will have no electricity soon.
But such is life and we will have to endure!
How's this for endurance? A sopping wet squirrel begging at my window for nuts in the rain!
Look at this! Instead of eating the nuts, he ran and buried it!
Wet, wet, wet and you can see the drops here on a succulent outside my window!
I tried to get the rain drops falling on the windscreen of our car here, but also to include the 2 twin squirrels in the background!
Here you can see the twins foraging in the garden!
Our little guy in the Palm tree knows how to stay dry and I think that he made himself a waterproof hut up high there in the tree.
Chowing away at his favorite food. Avocado slices that Marian gives him every day!
Strangely none of the other squirrels eat avocado as they are all into nuts and acorns.
Finally, here's my family seeking a bit of warmth!
And That's All Folks!
Endurance; winter cold, wet, stormy and windy, yet the wild animals are out every day doing their thing.
When a heavy downpour arrives they all disappear as if by magic, only to reappear soon after.
The nights are very cold and wet, but early every morning they are all out again.
No blankets, heaters or jerseys of any kind, they were designed to endure!
Just so, I believe that we were also designed to endure the storms in our lives. But we as humans have a major handicap.
We can think!
This is our downfall, as errant thoughts coupled to our personal experiences and emotions often send us into a tail spin.
Life is what it is and our cowering thoughts are not going to change one iota of it. But in acceptance and endurance lies a good answer to our problems.
Note; this is not financial advice 🤣
