In charge here is an unpaid board member of Hive account@papilloncharity, as all of our board members are community volunteers. We keep our overheads to a bare minimum in order to do the work that we say we do. Papillon has 6 board members and they are all active in different communities.

Now just have a careful look at this picture above. Allow this sight to fill your mind and your heart and this is why we do what we do!

Caring from the smallest to the oldest is at it should be!

There was the last of the rice dished up and thankfully Papillon had enough money to replenish the rice stock.

It is amazing how the food prices escalated during this lockdown period. Even the price of face masks has tripled. The vultures are descending on the ill nations. We are not a rich charity and now after cutting most of the overhead costs, there is only one person that receives a small stipend from the charity. No rental payments and no employee costs and still we struggle to meet the need of the people.

But the fight continues and over 19 years now we have never and will never give up! Yes, it is a struggle, but as you saw above, it has it's heart warming moments. To each and every person that supports us, here in this post, you can see what you have done!
