This is my new portrait painting on cavas using a new technique called 'Araism.'
Araism is a new african art movement which has a unique representation.which started first in the western part of Nigeria in west Africa, and has been explored beyound.
Its amazing texture is so atractive. It has this wooden effect which signifies what Africans are made of. The unity of broken peices to form a whole, rough but strong. The strenght in unity.
Araism movement has held about 14th. Anual exhihitions since it started which has atracted tourist all over the world to encroach and also appreciate these new painting approach.
This approach has been used in portrait paintings, landscapes,.sea scapes and in other forms e.t.c. But I decided to use mine for portrait painting. What do you thank about this movement?
