First of All Introduction.
Greetings Hivians, feel so good to be here, look how amazing Web3 decentralize community is. I am really excited and can’t wait to journey with you all together. As someone who just joined, it is paramount that you get to know me and what have shaped my way of life till this point.
MY PROFILE
I am PRISCA OGONNA IWEOBI by name but my friends from the university days call me Priscology, I have often wondered why and how they name came, a close ally then told me that I reason more like a philosopher and because I write. Wondering my origin already? off course I am a Nigerian from Imo State. I am the second child and second daughter of my parent in a family of seven children.
Wondering what my childhood looks like? Wait let me take you on a journey; I left home when 7 to stay with an elderly woman as a house help because my parents can no longer afford to feed and care for the entire family. One year into staying with the woman, she had partial stroke and can no longer do anything, so I became a nanny at the age of 8. Cooking, cleaning, parking shit and urine, fetching water, goat food and firewood, farming, washing among others. This experience sharped my life in many ways. I had both my primary and secondary school education in my community. My childhood wasn’t boring, regardless of becoming more like a mother as a child, I still experience the best childhood, I played sweh, cantar, rode tire, played soccer, listened to moonlight stories, went to the river to fetch water for drinking and cooking, I climb trees and did almost everything a boy at my age then can do. I love playing with boys and I hated kitchen activities, but staying with the woman transformed me. I still believe in the power of environmental and social influence in raising a child. I am very introverted as a child and many of my secondary peers often say I know not how to talk as they keep struggling to hear and understand me, I remembered one incident that happened then where I was engaged in a fight with a boy and he truly dealt with me, and after people separated us and I was asked to narrative what happened and Boom!! I started crying. Funny right, yes but it did happen.
##Journey Into Higher Institutions

After my secondary school, I gained admission into Nigerian Higher institution, I finished from Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA), Niger State Nigeria, being an Igbo girl and going all the way to FUTMINNA for my university bachelor degree opened a different world entirely to me. I had no person nor know anyone prior to my going there, It was the first time in my entire life I am staying away from home, staying in hostel, and living with diverse people from different tribe an culture and religion, and being in Northern Nigeria generally. we are always 12 persons in a room in the hostel, and there we have people of different culture, religion, tribe and personality. And imagine me all the way from the village and very introverted coming to this kind of environment for the first time and having nobody to guide me was not funny. We survived though. It changed me and open up a different world to me. I can still remember my expression the first time I saw someone on Hijab and Niqab.
Being in the higher institution such as FUTMINNA helped me become more aware about other skills I was blessed with. It was there I harnessed my sport skills, social skills, writing skill, leadership and political skills among others, I won many medals for the institution such as bronze medal from Nigerian Universities Game (NUGA) 2017 in Markudi, Benue State I was the one who scored the for the FUTMINNA female field hockey team that fetched us the medal, I participated in West Africa Universities Game, in fact due to my active participation and special skill in sport, I raised from becoming an ordinary school female football player to becoming the school captain to becoming the female football coach of the institution. In social activities, I am always sorted after due to my energy. In politics, which I started from 100 level as the Assistant General Secretary of my department to becoming Vice President of my faculty in 200 level to becoming the first female President of my faculty in 300 level to contesting as the first female SUG President and then heading the most active student political party in the school. It was a whole lot of experience believe me. So don’t worry, Stay glue on this space. I am coming here with lots and lots and lots of experiences to share and many stories to tell. Omo my university days no funny at all, in all of this, people do think I make lots of money and many even come to me for help not knowing that I receive nothing from home and most of the stuff I do then was for the fun and love of it. I struggled my way through the university maintaining the status given to me by the university community. When I lack, I don’t beg, and I must find a way to meet expectation of people coming to me for help of any kind. Being in this situation helped me to think outside the box, that is when I started learning how to activate my creativity and be innovative. The six-sense got added immediately.
Moving Deeper to UPNorth
Fast forward to NYSC days, was posted to Kebbi state, moving from North Central to North West of Nigeria was no much difference but I was shocked by how my assumption was disappointed. The weather, the people, the culture and religion and everything differs in every way. There's sharia law very effective than Niger State, and lot more. But the good people of Kebbi State Nigeria were extremely nice and accommodating, and life was very easy there and surviving was cheap. I love Northern Nigeria so much. I eventually ended up staying longer after my service year, it afforded me the opportunity to travel almost all the states in North Western Nigeria and near by countries like Niger Republic, Benin Republic, Togo, etc. During my NYSC, I won the State Government NYSC award for the best and outstanding corps member due to my outstanding Personal Community Development Services ranging from renovating the oldest chemistry laboratory in the entire Northwestern Nigeria built by Lord Lugard in 1914 and training and empowering 80 orphans in Kebbi State Orphanage home and conducting and hosting the first ever Kebbi State inter school spelling bee competition and many more earned me such award and other outstanding achievements and recommendations. I did a lot of volunteer activities during this period which afforded me with lots of experiences etc. I learned the skill of photography and editing, videography and editing etc from my northern family, and these skills and many more I learned there puts food on my table today.
What I Do Now

Despite my chemistry and education background, I have flair in media and communication, I have worked in many media agencies ranging from Search Fm Minna as a sport presenter, to Prestige Fm Minna as a literary news presenter to Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Equity Fm Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State as an English Presenter. To Equity Television. Among others. Currently I work with Wakanda Network News (WNN) (www.wnn.africa). I also co-founder Pristine Pathways Initiative as a non-Governmental Organization. And the founder of PPC Media and PPC Services Limited the producer of household hygienic chemical products such as liquid soap, Vaseline, germicide, bleach among others. In general I am a Social and Tech entrepreneur. I am mult skilled and Multi Talented. This is me and frankly speaking there’s more to talk about but we will take it one step at a time and I promise you, it will be filled with stories and event you can connect with and it will worth the while. Welcome to my page. We are only getting started.
