Between the two of us, we started drawing this picture. The creativity is my son's, concerning how to make the rainbow. The idea of the picture frame is mine. You know that strength is in the union and we have always made a great team!
Entre los dos, comenzamos a hacer este dibujo. La creatividad es de mi hijo, referente a cómo hacer el arcoiris. La idea del portaretratos es mía. Ya sabes que en la unión está la fuerza y nosotros siempre hemos hecho un gran equipo!

First I started drawing the picture frame.
Primero yo comencé a dibujar el portaretratos.
Then I tried to give it more of a wooden shape, drawing those little marks and lines around.
Luego le traté de dar más forma de madera, dibujando esas pequeñas marcas y líneas alrededor.
Then my son Gabriel, 9 almost 10 years old, started drawing the rainbow and the sun.
Entonces mi hijo Gabriel, de 9 casi 10 años, comenzó a dibujar el arcoiris y el sol.
Gabriel started to put colors on the inside.
Gabriel comenzó a ponerle colores a la parte de adentro.
When he finished, I set out to color the picture frame, looking for a resemblance to wood (I don't think I succeeded 😒). I guess my crayons are basic, not professional crayons, just the simple ones my son takes to school.
Al terminar él, yo me dispuse a colorear el portaretratos, buscando una semejanza con la madera (creo que no lo logré 😒). Supongo a que mis crayones son básicos, no son crayones profesionales, sino los sencillos que mi hijo lleva al colegio.
So, that's it for our "work of art" 😁
I know that it is not perfect, but it fulfills its mission, which is to make the life of each one of us more joyful, to sow hope, to know that for sure, this will happen and that besides having united us a lot as a family, it made us value the small details of life.Definitely at the end of the quarantine, we are going to be different; much more human, stronger, more in solidarity. All changes are good and this has left us with a great and positive learning experience.
Y bien, eso es todo en cuanto a nuestra "obra de arte" 😁.
Sé que no está perfecto, pero cumple su cometido, que es el de hacer más alegre la vida de cada uno de nosotros, sembrar esperanzas, saber que con seguridad, esto va a pasar y que además de habernos unido mucho como familia, nos hizo valorar los pequeños detalles de la vida. Definitivamente al finalizar la cuarentena, vamos a ser distintos; mucho más humanos, más fuertes, más solidarios. Todos los cambios son buenos y éste nos ha dejado un gran y positivo aprendizaje a todos.
