Hi guys, my name is Ruth, I'm in my early 20's and I'm from Nigeria, a native of Igbo tribe. I'm from a family of six, two boys, two girls then my mom and dad and I happen to be the third child. I currently live with my elder sister and I also work in a medical lab.
Growing up, I've always thought I would end up in the entertainment industry because I was a huge fan of music. I remember how I would always dance and sing along everytime "Waka Waka" by Shakira came on the radio. But as I got older I found myself slowly losing interest in music and diving into books. One of my favorite novels is "Murder on the Orient Express" by Agatha Christie.
I'm a huge fan of dogs and would love to have a dog as a pet some day. Unfortunately, I'm barely at home so looking after my pet dog would almost be an impossible task and pleading with my sister to look after it for me, is like asking her to give me both of her kidneys, she hate dogs and would do anything to be far away from them.
Every now and then I do enjoy going for a run as it helps me clear my mind and think properly. I also enjoy playing football even though most of the time it looks like I don't know what am doing.
I'm not a writer, as a matter of fact, this is the first time I would be attempting to write anything professionally. When I first stumbled on Hive few months ago, I had told myself that I won't be able to thrive here because it has a lot to do with writing but I have decided to give it a try and I hope you guys would take it easy on me because I'm new to writing.
