Last week, while camping, we had a chance to walk around this natural park. It is located by the beach, very close to the touristic areas right in the Rosas bay. But as it is a protected area, birds and aquatic animals have their small living paradise there.
As the weather was very hot, we decided to go for a walk in the evening, right after it rained so the area was more humid. You have to try to be quiet even when walking and keep your eyes open to try to see the birds.
Here's a small group in the grass we were able to catch on the way back.
We spend some time sitting inside one of the wooden houses built in the parc to be able to watch the fauna without being seen by the animals. Here are some of the shots I took from there catching the storks while they where fishing.
I liked the reflections on this picture taken from one of the small bridges in the area.
Here's an aerial view and a map of the area from the official webpage. It is definitely a place to bring your SLR camera and be patient to catch some pretty shots.
