Today we decided to go to the Segre river canyon. It is a beautiful walk up to where the river is born.
We took the short ride starting from the Llo village and made a 7k circle to reach the chapel ruins up in the hill.
A "via Ferrata" starts from down the mountain and climbs through the rock up to the chapel for those more adventurous. You can see the impressive view from up the hill where the chapel was built down to the path where we started walking and where the "via Ferrata" starts.
After a 3km walk by the canyon following the river, we reached a fork to go to the chapel.
And finally took the way down to the village again.
Although slightly tired, we didn't feel like renting this convertible van for the las mile :)
All in all, another great day in the mountains.
