This is from Bangladesh.
A few days ago my wife fell ill suddenly and I was trying to rush her to the hospital. On that day Raining from morning. When I came to the road for the car, I saw where the knees were wet and where the waist was wet. I got very worried and called for an ambulance, when I told my address he said there was a lot of water on the road and he couldn't come.
Finally, I decided to go to the hospital by taking an autorickshaw, giving up the hope of an ambulance.Basically my wife had severe stomach pain and was screaming in pain. I spoke to several autorickshaw drivers but none agreed to go as the road was waterlogged . Finally after waiting for a long time I got an autorickshaw and boarded it with my wife.
But there was so much water on the road that the driver was struggling to drive. When we reached a place in the middle of the journey, water entered our car and stopped. To tell the truth, meanwhile my wife was screaming in pain and I got very worried. Lucky for us our car got fixed after a while. By the will of the Almighty we were able to reach the hospital and the doctors started the treatment. They told me she was suffering from appendicitis in her uterus and if we had delayed getting there any more time it would have been very dangerous. My wife survived the journey for a short while but there are many who are dying on this bad road. Day after day we are moving like this and there is no one to see.
In fact, because there is no system for rainwater to go, this suffering is created. Moreover, several accidents have taken place on the roads in the last few days, so our public representatives have decided to act. They are making arrangements to drain the water by laying big cement pipes on the side of the road. This is a very good decision and hopefully it will clear our waterlog and we will be able to move properly. Moreover, after the polythene road, the water drainage road is closed, so the public representatives have requested everyone to be aware. We really hope this issue will be resolved soon and we can move on smoothly.
