Sorbets + Gelatos in a POD?!? Solato is an ice cream shop located inside Stackt market that puts a new innovative twist to ice cream. Imagine a Nespresso capsule but for ice cream. In less than a minute, fresh ice cream is served in a cup. The concept is soo unique and is possibly the FUTURE of ice cream. Each ice cream costs $6 and you can add $0.50 for each additional topping. They have so many unique toppings from pistachio paste, choclate sea salt halva, strawberry crisps, hazlenut praline crumbs... the creations are endless.
For the price, I would give it a rating of 7/10 as it is pricier for ice cream and it was not a big portion. Despite the unqiue toppings, I was not fully satisfied due to the small portion. However, the service was SUPER nice. They offered me two FREE gelatos and even offered another. The overall experience was positive and the flavours were solid. For the service alone, I would give a 10/10. But would probably not come back due to the pricey dessert.
