Hello everyone, my name is Eze Joy Chidera, but you can call me Adaeze. I am from Enugu State, Nsukka, in Igbo Eze North Local Government Area.
I attended my primary and secondary school in Enugu between 2012 and 2018. After I finished secondary school, reality set in. Life has its own way of testing you, and for me, it meant working early to support my family.
I come from a family of six, four girls and two boys and as the first child, I knew I had to be strong. We are not financially stable, so I decided to start working immediately after school. I first worked as a sales girl, then as a cashier in a depot company.
But there has always been one thing I love and have passion for,which is cooking. My dream has always been to become a professional chef. Back then, I tried everything I could to start culinary school, but it wasn’t easy. Still, I never gave up.
How My Culinary Journey Started
One day, I decided to apply for a job at Best Western Plus Hotel in Enugu as a cook, even though I didn’t have any certificate. It wasn’t an easy task, but with God on my side, I got the job. That was the beginning of my journey toward my dream.
From 2023 to now (2025), I have been able to attend culinary school and I am now working as a professional chef. I’m still aiming higher because my goal is to reach the very top in my career.
How I Joined Hive
One faithful day, I met a very good friend 
I am happy to be in the #Hive blockchain because I believe it will help me achieve my dreams, become financially stable, and grow my creativity. I also want to connect with people, share my story, and inspire others never to give up.
My hope is that one day, I can look back and proudly say I made it.And I want that same feeling for everyone reading this today.
