Question:What is the cost of living like in your country or region? Wow!! 🤔
My state of origin is the third state on the list of states in the country which is Akwa ibom state my hometown, so am going to be talking about the #cost of living in my state because that's where I reside at moment. But before then, I'll be giving you guys a little hunt about my beloved state ☺ because am proud of my state and I want my state to be proud of me as well, actually I know so much about my state, courtesy of my dad who was an #historian(blessed memories 😭)He knew so much and thought me so many things about my state and its origin and am aspiring not just to be like my dad but to be more than him ☺ so with my aims open wide I Officially welcome you guys to #Akwa ibom state(the land of promise).
My state is one of the 36 states in Nigeria. It is located in the coastal southern part of the country, lying between latitudes 4°32′N and 5°33′N, and longitudes 7°25′E and 8°25′E. The state is located in the South-South Geopolitical zone of Nigeria, and is bordered on the east by Cross River State (nicknamed, The People's paradise), on the west by Rivers State (nicknamed, Treasure Base of the Nation) and Abia State (nicknamed, God's own state) and on the south by the Atlantic Nation and the southernmost tip of Cross River State. we boasts of diverse Natural Resources which includ:
Crude oil,
Salt,
Iron,
Coal,
Gold,
Clay,
Limestone,
Laterite
Gravel.
We are currently the highest oil- and gas-producing state in the country (with an estimated production of 800,000 barrels per day).
COST OF LIVING
In my country home the cost of living is very high, and its as the result of its fast growth of civilization, though it does not have effect on the citizens as they hustle to make ends meet. seeing the state amongst the most civilized in the country, you will have a lot of profits from what ever you sell.
COST OF EDUCATION
The educational sector of my state is one of the best in the country, the governor has made it a must for every child to go to school and also to make it easier he made sure its free and fare education, with that every child comfortably go to school, that lift a lot of burden from parent guardians.
COST OF FOOD ITEMS
the area of food in my state is something else, the prices of food are very high, the reason is because most of the food items are imported from the neighboring states and so traders do add a lot of prices on food stuff, a good advice for you if you are intending to visit my state please bring a lot of food items or a lot of money.🤣
The cost of transportation is not too high a drop is always 50 naira depending on the distance. ($0.15) its as a result of the low price of fuel at the moment. in most parts of the country the price of transportation is very high.
CUILTURE
We're often described as a uni-cultural State where norms, taboos, customs and traditions are the same. The folkways may vary from one ethnic grouping to another, but the operational cultural norms are basically the same all over the State. our cultural similarities bind the people together especially in such areas as cuisines, dressing, dances, songs, rituals, folklores, beliefs and myths. Almost all aspects of its culture have potentials to provide fascinating experiences for tourists and for investment opportunities.

my state remains a beautiful state that boasts of rich cultural values, aesthetic beauty and state-of-the-art facilities. we are fast becoming a smart city that is keyed in to building a more sustainable Nigeria in respect to the Sustainable Development Goals.
