Have you ever heard of Trypophobia? A disorder that is described by sufferers as a fear or disgust of seeing repetitive patterns or "holes" in different surfaces.
Well, Tryphophobia was what I felt this morning when I went out into the yard and realized it was full of fungus. Their shape is not repulsive to me, but that they are so close together in one place and in such large numbers is what makes me sick.
I wanted to take some pictures because it's the first time in my life that I've seen mushrooms. I know how they look from seeing them in the movies, but this is the first time I've seen them in real life, and I found them disgusting, hahaha.
In fact, only one I thought was pretty and that was the one that grew up alone. However, the ones that are all together don't look good at all.
After taking the photos I did some research on mushrooms, and it struck me that they didn't belong to the plant kingdom. Nature really is amazing and I think I will never stop being surprised.
