It was the hot 43 degree Celsius outside when nobody was found outside then me and my friends decided to go for a trip, tour to Forest research institute Dehradun (FRI). We decided to talk with the faculty member and Head of the department (Dr Beena Joshi Bhat) when we met with the teachers they replied yes so let's have some knowledge about FRI.
FRI is the natural Resource institute for the Indian forest service cadres and the state forest service cadres. It is the most famous institute for research and is declared as the deemed university by University Grants Commission "source"
This is the story of about 2014 when I was pursuing Masters in zoology at dolphin PG institute of biomedical and natural science. Me and my Friends Shabir, showket, sarabjeet, Azhar, Insha ,quyoom, Hakim and faculty members went to FRI and reached in 1 and half hour at spot.
When I saw FRI I was fascinating and got surprised through the infrastructure and natural and human engineering.Peaceful, cool and suitable place surroundings filled with greenery and beautiful red flowers, different plants, trees and animal species making more attractive to one's soul and intention.
It is located in Dehradun and are established in 1906, it has number of departments where we have learned a lot of new things and observed different kinds of bird species, snakes and their habitat.
Our caring teachers like Beena madam, Suman Mam and Bhardwaj sir teaches us bit by bit things that we have not learned before. Be honest I was not having any kind of knowledge regarding forestry subject.
The infra structure, engineering and fabulous look worth millions of rupees.
Fri Hosts many movie shootings like student of the year the best Bollywood movie. It was such a good experience and tour with friends and faculty members. I will never forget the lovely moments which I have spend with my besties.
Eating panipuris a local famous food, ice golas and sugarcane juice recalls me to visit again FRI. This the story of 2014 of the college days.
