Hello dear friends!
Happy Diwali to all Hindu friends. I hope you have had a good Diwali. But due to the Corona epidemic, the festival was not celebrated like every year. But I hope you will be able to enjoy a good festival next year.We all know that Hindus usually celebrate different types of festivals according to their religion. Diwali is also one of the other festivals. They celebrated Diwali yesterday.
Originally it was thought that Diwali was celebrated to commemorate the day when Rama returned to his people after 14 years of exile in Ayodhya. There is an epic in the Ramayana, at which time Rama rescued Sita from the hands of King Ravana.
Our Hindu neighbors also celebrated Diwali yesterday and had a lot of fun. Everybody around our house is a Hindu neighbor. They have decorated the house with different colorful lights. In the yard, the roof of the house is decorated with colorful alpana. The whole backyard is illuminated with earthenware.
They are also lighting candles to illuminate their workplaces and shops. On this day they perform Kali Pujo and visit Kalipujo from far and wide. He also fulfills the vow by slaughtering goats.Meals are cooked all night and they eat together in the last hours of the night. There is also dancing, singing and various types of bets throughout the night.
I respect and honor people of all faiths. Our Hindu neighbors also respect us and extend a helping hand in times of danger. We should remember that religion belongs to everyone, festivals should belong to everyone. We can also share joy in their festivals. I had a great Diwali with my neighbors and I am sharing some of its moments with you. I capture some pictures on my phone and share them with you. If you have any feedback on this, please let me know your comments.
