It Hurts and Saddens As I Lost All My Earned HBD and Almost Lost My Hive Account to an Hacker Yesterday

It all happened yesterday morning around 9:30am as I was trying to publish a new post then I kept on getting an error message saying:

I didn't understand what was happening then I had to log out and tried to login back it was at that point i kept seeing error logging in back to my account.

Then I thought of it that how could I have been hacked. After taking a deep thought then I realized that I was from a link I click on Hive account@lovesniper post comment and that was how the hacker got my hive account authentication details.

It all seem very strange to me because I am just a month and few weeks old on hive. Then I tried checking my keychain mobile app to monitor my wallet, it was then I realized that I have been hacked as I saw that all my HBD (Hive Backed Dollar) of 68.755 as been withdrawn and my HP (Hive Power) has started powering down.

It hurts my alot on seeing this because ever since I signed up on hive I have not made any withdrawal of my earning from my posts and engagements on hive.

Then I reached out to Hive account@starstrings01 and explained to him what as happened. I don't know how best I can compensate or appreciate him enough for his help as he indeed help me to recover my account back from the hacker. And I am very grateful Hive account@starstrings01.

Glory be to God and all thanks to Hive account@starstrings01, I got my hive account back yesterday night and was able to stop the Hive Power Down initiated by the hacker and I would greatly appreciate any donations or delegations towards recovering from my loss.

I learnt a very great lesson yesterday and I pray and hope such won't happen ever again. And I really hope this hackers are been dealt with and proper justice is been made because I know that I won't be the only victim of it and they won't stop hacking and causing people pains.
