Hey there!
I am Temidayo (meaning “mine has turned to Joy” in my mother tongue). I am the last son but not the last child of a family of six – do the math! I’m in my early twenties and currently, I am a third-year student of the federal university of Agriculture, Abeokuta studying Mechatronics Engineering – my dream course.
I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to for introducing me to this platform.
Now, without further ado, let’s move on to the main business.
SO, WHO IS TEMIDAYO?
Well, for starters, I am a man who tries his best to stay alive. Other than that, I have quite a number of stuffs I’m involved in.
Firstly, I am a tech enthusiast and I’ve always been fascinated by tech (especially robotics) and it is my love for robotics that led me to the course I’m currently studying – Mechatronics engineering. My interest in tech was sparked up by cartoons like Jimmy Neutron, Power rangers and many others that I watched while growing up.
For the sake of some of us that may be confused, Mechatronics Engineering is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that makes use of knowledge from other engineering fields to create better and more sustainable products. It is quite a wide ocean comprising different fields such as Control engineering, Servomechanism, Embedded Systems etc.
Asides from being a student, I am also into Data Science (majoring in Data Analytics) with the aim of being able to infuse both basic and industrial automation with insights generated from data summed up over a period of time.
During my free time, I like volunteering at events. I have volunteered for different kinds of events over the years. Events like ODS (Ogun digital summit), PAADC, etc. are some of the events I have volunteered for in time past.

I am also an ardent lover of nature, history and literature. Whenever I am not coding to automate a process, testing circuits or analyzing data, I love taking photos of nature (and any other thing that comes my way) with my phone camera. Reading books and writing about insights I could gain from them especially ones that depicts real history and works of art (or literature) are other things I do at my leisure. My love for learning new things prompted me into learning about languages – I’m currently learning French.
Why I joined Hive?
Just as I mentioned earlier, I got to know about the HIVE platform through . He explained in detail what the platform is all about and its modus operandi; and I was immediately captured by the fact that it is a decentralized network – the blockchain feature.
While exploring further, I met who highlighted some ways by which I can utilize my skills in a way that can help both I and the platform grow.
I would like to say a very big thank you to my mentor and friend once again, for his unwavering guidance, patience and advice in facilitating my easy onboarding to the HIVE network. I celebrate grace!!!
Thanks for going through my post. In the meantime, I’ll try to explore the platform and make new friends.
