In these times, well, at least to I, there’s a lot of fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Yet I do not believe there is anything to be afraid of. We have our guard up; it’s at these times what we do defines us. A community sticks together, at least, ‘to their guns’ and I’m pleased I did no differently.
We are what repeatedly do.
Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
ARISTOTLE
Concerning myself, the passion burns as brightly as when it first sparked, setting my heart ablaze. It is not to assume some kind of imperviousness to extenuating circumstance, but could I call myself ‘driven’ if I sat by and did nothing? I think not, and as such, I pray that the records show the same.
Years from when I began, I begin again because I love what I do. I’ve borne witness to many sights as I look back, felt a myriad of emotions. Gratefully, I learned many lessons some of which could use a refresher course or two. Negligence may lead to my demise, as it has for others. Even their experiences mold mine own as I navigate turbulence and fly onward. I am still doing more than I thought possible, so I offer my thanks to everyone who lent a hand thus far, because I can do so much more. Forgive me, as I know I still need your help.
