Let’s be honest, while scrolling through Ecency, I’ve noticed a trend: the designs attached to some posts aren’t quite hitting the mark. Now, this isn’t a jab at anyone (we’re all learning), and it’s definitely not the fault of the platform’s founders, ; their work is stunning.
But as a graphic designer, I couldn’t help but feel concerned. It’s clear that we, the users, can step up our game when it comes to using graphics to elevate our ideas and content.
So, what’s the way forward?
Understand the Basics: You don’t need to be a professional designer to create visually appealing content if you must use a design. Go ahead and understand the basics, and you are good to go. Pay attention to the details, such as how colors are combined, fonts are selected, and elements are arranged.
Leverage platforms like Canva, use AI-generated images, or even PixelLab, which are user-friendly and perfect for beginners. They come with templates that can guide you to create professional-looking designs effortlessly.
And here’s the best part: I AM HERE TO HELP!
Keep an eye on my space, and I’ll soon be sharing a series of posts to teach the basics of graphic design.
As a designer, I know firsthand how a polished visual can amplify the impact of any message. Together, we can raise the bar for visuals on Ecency, making our community
even more vibrant and engaging!
Stay tuned; you won’t want to miss it.
