Good day dear mates! Sometimes it comes to us when we even don't expect it. So it happened with me. And now I think I'm ready to share it with you.
It was just a usual evening when I came home and my cat Barsik was waiting me as always near the door. At that evening I came even a little bit earlier coz I was need to make some rebasement in my house but it's no matter.
Anyway I came home, greeted my cat and washed hands. After it I went to the kitchen to prepare some sandwiches and fruit drink for a quick snack.
Then I heard my cat start meowing and coughing plaintively. The first thing I thought was that he swallowed a ball of wool and he was going to vomit. However, I was terribly wrong. He started meowing again. Then I went up to him and took him closer to his couch. He looked at me plaintively, after which he coughed again, his body trembled and he died. All this happened within a minute.
It was the worst evening since the beginning of the year. This cat lived with us for over 7 years, although he was actually older since my wife brought him into the house as a kitten when we didn't know each other. But he was 100 percent a full member of our family. Who not only lived with us but also helped, looked after the children and they grew up with him.
Yes, I used to also have pets, but I have never experienced such a shock before my eyes.
When I looked outside it was already dark. However, I had to do my duty and bury our pet.
On the street after the snowfall there was a terrible road and heavy drifts. I got to the village where we have a house for longer than it usually takes me. He took the necessary tools and went to the forest where he buried him.
When I called my wife, she was as shocked as me. We did not know how to tell the children about what had happened because our eldest child grew up with the cat. With it he began to walk and with it he could fall asleep peacefully after a long day.
When the wife and children returned home, the eldest child searched for him for a long time and called, morally these were very difficult moments for us.
So now I can say that there was the worst evening in my life since the beginning of the year. And when we talked with my wife we decided that if our children will want we'll take to home new pet when we'll be ready.
