Good day dear mates! @travoved is here! And wellcome to the 8th part of my trip to Germay!
In which I'll tell you about last city which we've visited during our trip. But it won't be last part in my story!
So as you can remember after inteceive day in Dresden we came back to Leipzig where we had free day. and that day we decided to spend usefully. First of all, we allowed ourselves to get some sleep and calmly collect our luggage. After lunch, we went to local shops to buy souvenirs for relatives and friends, as well as to visit the most interesting places again.
We even found strength in the evening to visit the zoo.
The next day, after breakfast, we checked out of the hotel and went straight to the station from where our way lay in Berlin.
Upon arrival in Berlin, we immediately headed to the Intercity Hotel where we had to check in, change clothes and all go together to an important event that had long been planned.
When we got free we went to inspect the cityscapes from a bird's-eye view, from the roof of one of the skyscrapers. Of course the weather was not the best for walking on the roofs, but it was worth it!
In the evening, we were waiting for a visit to the restaurant and the cultural part of the evening, which consisted of visiting Friedrichstadtpalast with Vivid Grand show.
After such an eventful evening, we walked through the night of Berlin. In the morning, having checked out of the hotel, we went on another sightseeing tour of the city.
During the tour, the main places for us were the Brandenburg Gate and East Side Gallery(Please get ready for a lot of photos from there).
And of course I coudn't miss such gem of art like Kiss of Gorbachev and Honecker!
But let's move on!
Of course for us, after visiting the Cologne Cathedral, it was important to visit the German Cathedral and Friedrichswerdersche Kirche.
After sightseeing tour we decided to have a lunch at Liderbrau restaurant. And then we went to Berlin-Shonefeld airport. Where we were waiting for the plane on which we had to go home.
But do not forget that this is not the last part of my story about my journey to Germany! Next, I will tell in more detail separately about the sights as promised in previous posts. Stay tuned!
