Hello friends.
Hope that you guys all are well. I am also fine. The valley of flower trek is very beautiful and full of the beauty of nature. Through this post I have shared some photographs of flowers and plants with you. There are really many different types of flowers. I have shared some of these flowers photograph with you. I hope you like these photographs. And I really enjoyed this trek. I have also shared many photographs related to this Valley of Flowers trek but this time I will share my experience of this track with you.
We had a team of 12 friends come forward for this trek out of which 9 finally joined this track. We contacted a trekking tour operator for this trek and they gave us a package with all the bookings and accommodation related to this trek. This trek was a little different from the other trek as there was a guest house for eating, drinking and staying. Because you are at a height there is no electricity to charge mobiles and cameras and there are no guest houses for sleeping. There you have to stay in a tent to eat rice and climb.
The duration of our trek was 8 days. It started from Delhi. We reached Delhi by plane from Ahmadabad. There our tour operator was ready with the vehicle to take us. He took us to Rishikesh from there. The distance from Delhi to Rishikesh is about 265 km. We traveled by bus. And the first night we passed in Rishikesh.
Rishikesh is located near Devnagari Haridwar. The distance between the two is about 20 km. Haridwar is one of the four major pilgrimage centers in India. People from all over India come there to take a dip in the river Ganga. People believe that diving into the river Ganga destroys all their sins. The river Ganga is considered to be the holy river of India. Hindus also come here to bury the bones of their loved ones. A grand Aarti of the river Ganga is also held in Haridwar every night at 7 o'clock. This must be taken advantage of. I will create a post for this again in the future which will be for Devnagari Haridwar only.
Early in the morning we had breakfast and left Rishikesh for Joshimath. The distance between Rishikesh and Joshimath is about 255 km. This is the route we traveled by bus. The road was full of natural beauty. The road passed by mountains, rivers and deep valleys. It was a wonderful opportunity to see the scenery. During this journey we had lunch and reached Joshimath at 4 pm. Shastri, who is knowledgeable and proficient in Shastra, says that Joshimath was the winter home of Lord Badrinath. Lord Badrinath spent his winter time here doing penance. Joshimath is a name derived from Math. This Math was founded by Adi Guru Shri Shankaracharya. This is also a beautiful and sacred place.
No further on this trek I will share with you in my upcoming post. I will share with you a few photos taken during this trek. In this photo, the main task is to share photographs of flowering plants and beautiful plants scattered in the fields. I hope you like these photographs and this place.
