Hi hive 👋
We are a young family from the south of Ukraine, and we have something to share with you.😉
Everyone knows the situation that is happening in our country, so we will share with you here how we cope with the daily difficulties that our interesting life is preparing for us.
Briefly tell about us: My wife and I met at one of the jobs and immediately charmed each other! For a long time we lived from place to place in rented apartments and rented houses without presenting further prospects.
But then fate decided to give us a child. 🤰
At the family council, it was decided that it was necessary to urgently purchase their own housing. 🏡
Decided on priorities about the place and I started looking. For a long time I reviewed ads in search of the very place where I would like to raise a child and live with my wife myself. I wanted to have as few curious neighbors as possible and have a lot of open space, which means it should be a village, not a city. I wanted the site to have a slope for terracing and a river... the distance to the regional center was also important. My wife also wanted to have a forest around, but for our steppe latitudes this is a great luxury)🌲🌲🌲
As a result, we found a great option for an affordable price! Direct access to the river, southern slope towards the sun. Residential building over 100 square meters. 4 bedrooms, amenities inside. Huge kitchen. Good view of the river from the window.
To the neighbors of the nearest 100 meters, to the second 200. On the fourth side of the site there is an asphalt dead-end road and a clear field behind it... 25 acres of privatized land.
Wow, just an introvert's dream))
I don't know if you'll believe it, but all this stuff cost me only $5K! Moreover, as it turned out later, the neighbors assure me that we greatly overpaid...
Seeing all this for the first time, we immediately knew what to take. For such money, access to the river was hard to even imagine. I didn’t have such an amount on hand right away, so I had to take out a loan and spend all our cryptocurrency savings. We do not regret this a bit: the exchange rate is subject to volatility, and our house is firmly dug into the ground with its foundation. Yes, and due to force majeure circumstances of a military nature, it is possible not to pay the loan until better times.
Now we have our own place, we have our home. My daughter is growing up here - the most beloved and beautiful child in the world. We live here.
This blog will be about how we moved from the city to the countryside, what we faced here and how we overcome difficulties on our way... It will be a little about family and upbringing, it will be about construction and electricity (which I understand), it will be about agriculture and gardening. It will be about how we preserve our family atmosphere, not letting in the chaos and grief that reigns around and at the same time preparing for the worst. There will be some of my philosophical reasoning and unexpected surprises in the end.
We will be glad to all subscribers and readers. I will be happy to answer your questions in the comments.
Peace and blessings to your family and friends!
P.S.
I express my condolences to all the victims of the terrible earthquake that occurred the day before. There are no words to express the grief of the loss of loved ones.A difficult test has fallen to us in our lifetime, we will overcome everything and become stronger.
