I'm not your regular motivational speaker that will tell you " if you can think it, you can do it". I'm not refuting to that cliché but there's a very important part they all failed to share and that's being CONSISTENT.
It's all cool to begin whatever journey or task you're about to till you get to the point where you have to double efforts to keep it going.
Starting a business or building a relationship isn't the real deal, the real deal is staying true to it. They are times you'll get choked up and tired, most times you'll even think you made the wrong decision.( I live on that path).
When I was much younger I had the habit of backing out of things or relationships that looked like it'd kill me if I didn't end it. I didn't even know what it meant to carry responsibility at all.
I wanted everything to just go smoothly or I'd hastily thin slice" it's not for me" but this past few months I realized nothing works that way.
I can't count how many times I started something and cried in the middle, hard work doesn't look hard until you begin.
Trust me, you'll make a lot of future plans of what you want but in the path of consistency, you'll forget all you said. Consistency needs more of Discipline than self will and positive mantras.
The real spirit of laziness left when I entered a house of excellence (The Pistis place), I understood that anything below excellence is not allowed, no matter what you're into.
What I'm trying to convey in this write is that, consistency is not just a noun( a name/title), it's more of a verb(an action word) and most times it won't come as easy as it's pronounced.
In my perspective, I believe being consistent is learned in the process of working on what ever you're working on. You won't learn to be consistent until you try.
Backing out of something you barely started won't get it to the spot light, consistency will.
Forget about if people are seeing you, it will amaze you that we have wise men watching silently while waiting for the brightness of your light.
Consistency is one of the keys to success, don't just start, be consistent.
You don't get visible by doing a half work, your visibility is knitted to how consistent you are.
If you're not a man of consistency, I'm happy to announce to you that you will fold up before you even begin.
