Greetings everyone! I hope you will be well and good. I am going to tell you about some important medicines which must be at your home in case of any emergency. You can use these medicines on your own as the first aid.
It is obvious that anything can happen to anyone at any time. I mean to say one can become ill at any time due to any reason. Because humans are just like the machines which are working all the time. And there is no guarantee of this machine because it can have any fault at any time.
As like we keep devices to analyse other machines and then we also keep some important tools to make the machines correct at our work place. I want to explain it with an example that if we have a bike and we use it. And we keep a toolbox full with some basic tools and devices for the treatment of the bike if any misbehave occurs.
Similarly for the humans it is necessary to keep some important medicines in access all the time which can be used for the first-aid purposes. And I am going to explain those important and basic medicines which can help you and must be in your access all the time even if you are at home, at your office, or at any other work place or travelling.
Fever Medicines are the most important medicines of a first-aid box. If you feel fever then you can take these medicines. These are the panadol (paracetamol), brufen (ibuprofen), and ponstan (mefenamic) acid tablets for elders and similarly (paracetamol), brufen (ibuprofen), and ponstan (mefenamic) syrups for the children.
Anti Allergy medicines are another important part of a first-aid box. Some people are so sensitive that they get infectious due to the allergic reactions. This allergy may be due to the dust, or change in the climate. So always keep anti allergy medicines in your pocket. These anti allergy medicines include cetrizine tablets and syrups.
I am also allergy sensitive and often due to these allergic reactions sore throat happens to me and flu also starts. So I keep these anti allergy medicines.
Flu medicines should be kept in your early access. Flu also occurs due to some allergic reactions as I have explained the allergic reactions earlier. Sometimes you drink too many cold drinks and your nose starts overflowing. You may be in any meeting or anywhere else. So keep arinac forte or coldrex tablets to overcome your flu.
Loose Motions are also a big challenge. This occurs due to the change in your food. And in summers diarrhoea is common because due to the heat and some over eating it may happen to you. So always be careful. You may be in office, in school, in college or university or in travel and if unfortunately loose motions happen to you and the doctor is also not available at that time. Then your health can be spoiled and you will become too weak. So keep Flagyl (Metronidazole), intox tablets and imodium capsules. Besides this you must keep ORS from which you can make mineral water and it is really effective in this case in providing you energy and relief.
Belly Pain may also happen at any time. And it is really bad pain which we can't even show to anyone our wound.
In women this pain may be in their lower abdominal dye to the menses or periods and they feel really bad cramps due to this. So in order to avoid this pain one must have buscopan, relispa, and dytra (drotaverine) tablets. These tablets are also effective for other belly pains.
But in case of the children's belly pains or constipation you must keep colic drops so that in any emergency case when the doctor is not available you can give a remedy to your children.
Painkillers are also the most important part of the first-aid box. Sometimes pain may also be challenging when it rises in an emergency case. So your first-aid box should include some muscles and other body painkillers especially headaches. They include diclofenac sodium and diclofenac potassium. Always keep these painkillers with you and if you feel any pain these will save you from that pain.
Blood Pressure is also a fatal disease and any emergency can happen in this regard. Low blood pressure can be handled by eating some spicy things or by having any salty drink. But high blood pressure required some medicine too because it is more fatal than the low blood pressure. To overcome high blood pressure capoten is used, so keep this medicine with you as you may need this medicine in any case of high blood pressure.
Vomiting is also a worse case. You may be at any place at your work place or in travelling and if you fall prey to vomiting. So for the emergency case you must have some medicines to control vomiting. So keep domeperidone medicine for the protection of the vomiting.
Stomach is the most important part of the body and it is said that if our stomach is well then we are fit. But in any emergency case if you feel pain in your stomach or any acidity pain then it may become severe and can cause ulcers. So timely medication is necessary to overcome that acidity. So for emergency cases you should keep omeprazole, esomeprazole medicine to overcome your stomach acidity.
Cough syrups are also the part of those medicines which you may have needed in an emergency case. Due to any change you may fall prey to cough so keep cough syrups with you so that the cough does not go severe.
Bandages, wound creams are other important and essential things to cope with the sudden wounds. So always keep some bandages and anti septics with you to help yourself or others in case of any emergency.
So these are some essential medicines that should be at your home, office or at any workplace wherever you are because these are helpful and can save you from any severe condition.
