Helloew fellow creator today’s post is one i am excited for...because i get to show you all how i make my wigs for sale from scratch as a small budiness owner i have been making hair for quite a while now and its been very lucrative so far.. Now im gonna show you all how i make my wigs.
First off This is the final look of the wig...it is a 14” bone straight with a custom made 4”4 lace closure
Here is an image of Things you would be needing to make the wig “collectively”
• Materials in the picture above
. Hair bundles of your choice...“comment below if you also want me to show you how i make my hair bundles at home”.
. lace closure or frontals of your choice....this totally depends on what type if wig you are looking to make.
. A mannequin head.
.Any wig cap of your choice, “i prefer to use a mesh dome cap” as it is more breathable
.A hair brush to brush the hair while making the wig.
. Some scissors.
. A Needle and black thread.
. T pins or office pins “which i used “
. A measuring tape
.rubber bands would also come in handy
•Steps to making the wig
1.take out your closure, this is what a wig lace closure looks like..
....place the closure symmetrically in the middle at the front of the wig where the front of the caps stop “this depend on what kind of closure you are working with” now pin it down with the T pins to help stay in place.
2.now go ahead to measure 1 inch down to the back of the cap from where the closure stops while marking every inch and drawing a track horizontally across the wig cap ,the track would guide us on where to sow on the hair bundles .
3.now start sowing on the wig on the track you drew earlier”i would be uploading a video of the method i use in sowing the wig soon..so make sure to follow me to stay tuned
4.after im done sowing the hair bundles, i sow down the closure that was pinned down earlier on.
After im a done entirely with sowing down the closure and hair bundles ,i move on to applying products and styling the hair...since this was a straight wig i applied some leave in conditioner some hair moose and flat ironed the hair to achieve very flowy look like this .
And viola!! This is the result...
