14 May ....!
The day started like any other morning, but it felt different because it was my sister’s birthday. She had been talking about it for a week. She did not want a big party at home. She said she just wanted to go out, eat good food, and spend time with the family. So we decided to go to Lyallpur Galleria in Faisalabad. It is one of the biggest malls in our city, and the food court there has many choices. I think that was the best idea.
First we celebrated her birthday at exact 12:00 o clock. And here is her cake. It was her idea to write this on the cake...hahaha

Today i woke up early in the morning for my clinic. As soon as I arrived one of the pharmacist was already waiting for me for their medicine advertising....!

I completed my work in time today and rushed toward my room as we have to go to the mall for some delicious treat.
We left home around 4 PM. The weather was hot, the schorhing was on its peak....! Huh....! . My sister was excited the whole way. She kept checking her phone to see pictures of food on Instagram. She said, “Today I will eat everything I like." Hahhaha we both sisters are fooddiiieeee...! Because
Good food = Good mood
When we reached Lyallpur Galleria, the parking was full. It took us almost 15 minutes to find a place to park. The mall was full of people because it was a weekend. There were families, couples, and groups of friends everywhere. The lights, the shops, and the music made it feel festive. My sister said, “This is a good birthday feeling.”
We went straight to the food court on 4th top floor. The food court at Lyallpur Galleria is big and clean. There are many tables and chairs, and you can see the whole place from the sitting area. The smell of food was everywhere. .
My sister said we should try many things instead of just one dish. She said, “It is my birthday, so we can eat a lot.” We all agreed. So we made a plan. We would order small portions from five different places. That way we could taste everything without feeling too full too fast.
The first place we went to was Kbabjeez. They have ramen noodles, and my sister had been wanting to try them for a long time. She had seen videos online where people slurp hot ramen and it looked fun. We ordered one big bowl of chicken ramen. It came in a red spicy broth with noodles, chicken pieces,. The bowl was hot, and the smell was strong. My sister took the first bite and said, “Wow, it is spicy but good.” I tried it too. The noodles were soft, and the broth had a deep taste. It was not like the instant noodles we make at home. This felt richer and more real.

After the ramen, we walked a little and reached KFC. Who does not like KFC on a birthday? My sister loves their hot wings, and it is her go-to order whenever we go out.
We ordered a box of 10 hot wings. They came out hot, crispy, like always...hahha i love them. The smell of fried chicken filled the air. The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The spice hit your tongue first, then the chicken taste came. My sister ate two wings in a row. She said, “ but i guess she is gonna say this statement on every meal...hahaha

Next, we went to Bombay Chopati. This place is known for its desi Chinese food. My sister said she wanted something that was not too spicy but still had flavor. So we ordered one plate of chicken chowmein. The chowmein came in a big plate. The noodles were long, stir-fried with chicken, capsicum, carrots, and cabbage. The sauce was light brown and smelled of soy and garlic.
I really liked this one. The noodles were not too soft and not too hard. The vegetables gave it a nice crunch. Oh my goodness, trust me i can eat chowmein every single day...i just love it. Its my alllll time favourite.

Next item, i dont remember the name of the spot but we had Pizza cone. It was our first time trying pizza con.
The crust was thin and crispy at the edges. The cheese stretched when we picked up a slice. My sister said, “This is the best cheese pull.” We all laughed.

The last thing we ordered was Mandi from Baitul Mal. My sister said she wanted something heavy and traditional too.. AND i am also a rice lover person. I can eat rice thrice a day if not scared of health issues...hahaha
Mandi is rice with meat, cooked with special spices. It is a Yemeni dish, but it is very popular here now. Its my habbit to eat KFC hot wings with rice and i did the same today. OMG hellaaaaa yummmy
By the time we finished the Mandi, we were all very full. My sister said, “I cannot eat another bite, but I am happy.” That was the goal.
Here is the complete menu:

After eating so much, we did not want to sit anymore. So we walked around the food court and looked at the shops on the same floor. There were shops selling clothes, shoes, toys, and mobile accessories.
My sister did not want any gifts, but we went to a toy shop for my brother. But i had something interesting. I made a chocolate bouquet for her as she loves chocolates. As soon as i gave her she was like...whaaaatsssssss...you just sparkled my day. She started dancing in joy. Seeing her this much happy make me happy too. My eyes suddenly became teary with happy emotions.

Happiest birthday to my everlasting love my sister
14 May was yours, and I am glad I was a part of it.
