MY HIVE INTRODUCTORY POST

Greetings everyone😁, my name is Emmanuel, but everyone calls me maximus. I am a writer and videographer/skit maker, and this is my first post.

I was introduced to Hive by a friend Hive account@starstrings01. He told me about this wonderful platform where I can express myself through my writing and connect with other cool writers too!

First, a little about myself;

I am currently a third-year student of the federal university of Agriculture, Abeokuta. My course of study is Mechatronics Engineering. But even though I’m studying to be an engineer, I will always be—at heart—a writer.

So when I was introduced to this platform where you earn for producing quality written content, it seemed serendipitous. I was instantly intrigued and I made sure to join the community.

As I mentioned earlier, I am a writer and videographer/skit maker, and whenever people ask me about the two, I tell them this; if writing is my spouse, then videography is my mistress.😏

The art of telling stories through words and video is one I am striving to master. I love writing because it allows me to express myself and tell unique stories and I love making skits because I love making people laugh and feel happiness, and in these times which we exist, a little joy can go a long way.

My most significant hobbies include playing the guitar and playing basketball.

The guitar is an elegant and sensational instrument. Even though I have not been playing for very long, I am already in love with the instrument. Hive account@starstrings01 is also a guitarist and he continually inspires me to get better and make beautiful music.

Next up is basketball. I truly love this sport. It is not as popularized in Nigeria, mainly because of the lack of facilities, but if most people had the opportunity to play, they’d immediately fall in love with it. As someone who is at home most of the day, basketball is a fun and healthy way to get some exercise, and who knows, you might be looking at the next Michael Jordan.😉

I am also into poetry, astronomy and I am a huge movie freak; most especially superhero movies. #Marvelbuff😤— and I plan to utilize the knowledge of all my hobbies to create quality content to post on this platform.

Hive account@starstrings01 informed me that although I get to earn in crypto by creating quality content, I should note that Hive is not a “get rich quick” scheme. I was advised to focus more on the prospect of meeting new and talented people and creating quality content: and that is what I intend to do. I hope to contribute to Hive by sharing entertaining, educative and elevating content.

My exploration through this platform has left me with the conclusion that the potential is bountiful and the possibilities are endless.
