I’m not a professional graphic designer but some of my friends have found some designs I made to be nice.

This is me not trying to show off but rather to contribute to the growth and success of the hive platform.

I was excited to chance on Hive account@acidyo’s Hive Business Card Contest through @hanyabee’s entry.

Here’s my proposal for a hive business card design.

Description of design

I have made my design to be as simple as possible. The text “Scan to join” was not necessary but intentionally added it because I think it gives a hint of causal and a feeling of welcoming.

I have used only colors black, white and red.

Front

On the front page, the QR Code and the text are all left-aligned while the hive logo watermark is right aligned.

Back

Whereas on the back page, everything is switched the other way round. I love to leave maximum “white space” in my designs. It makes designs simple and readable which are the most important features of a good design.
