The most wonderful time of the year 🎊

The last week ended up being extremely exhausting, but I still was able to enjoy every second of it. Thanks to a fairly popular holiday called Christmas, I was able to see many people who I rarely get to any more these days. I attended two major Christmas gatherings this year, but also just spent a lot of time with my brother while he was in.

Last week was non-stop between blogging on Hive, wrapping presents, going to the gym, and spending time with my brother and parents. When I look back at it all, it's a bit fuzzy. I was able to accomplish many things last week while also remaining consistent with my work here. It took some juggling, but it was really nice having to work around my blogging/designing, rather than a 9-5 job that didn't even care about my personal life.

I'm probably one of the worst Christmas present wrappers in existence, but at least I didn't skip out on gifting altogether. I never did snap a photo of all of the gifts at my mom and dad's house or Hive account@flowerbaby's house, but I did manage to snap a quick one of a few of the gifts I handed out. As you can see, I basically just wrapped the items in paper and threw them in a bag with a tag. This is not my specialty, but I did try.

Hive account@flowerbaby and I spent Christmas Eve by ourselves at my place. We exchanged gifts and had a great evening together. We both got each other so many cool things and I'm so happy to no longer have my closet stuffed full of gifts

On Christmas day we went over to my parent's house. We got there pretty early and ended up spending over 8 hours there. Luckily there were plenty of animals for Hive account@flowerbaby to enjoy. Littleton the Dachshund was in from PA with my brother and his fiance, as was Nala the Chow Chow. Fritz the Pomeranian was at my parent's house like always. They are also currently caring for a stray cat that they named Felix, he was around out on the back deck pretty much the entire time. Oddly enough, unlike last Christmas, the weather was fairly warm on Christmas Day 2021.

I got this cute headwear for my mom and imagined her letting Felix the cat wear it to stay warm outside. Fritz quickly claimed the cute little ears for his own. He actually seemed to enjoy wearing this thing. I'm pretty sure he liked it so much just because it made my mom happy.

My mom cooked a massive meal for us. There were over a dozen different dishes and every single thing was tasteful. I love the holidays because I get to live off of leftovers for a few days afterward.

Next is a shot of my family at my parent's house. My brother Chez and his fiance Kristian are on the far left. My Pawpaw and Mamaw are in the middle left area. My mom and dad are in the middle right with Fritz in her arm. Then Hive account@flowerbaby and me on the far right with Littleton in her arms. I guess Littleton decided to move while the photo was being taken because he is a blurry-looking ghost. I love this photo and think it turned out great. Not bad for one of those timer photos with nobody actually behind the lens.

One of Hive account@flowerbaby and mine's favorite gifts was these custom Nike By Me. I designed these online and had been waiting over a month to see what they turned out like. I love both pairs of shoes so much. They are very much my favorite colors and I am so hyped to finally be able to wear them.

Hive account@flowerbaby had been wanting these Razer Kraken BT Kitty Headphones for almost a year now. Every time we went to Best Buy she would ask for them. Finally, my mom surprised her with these pink headphones with awesome RGB lights. These are the flashiest headphones I've ever seen and they look so cool in person.

The day after Christmas we went over to Hive account@flowerbaby's house. There was a lot of gift opening here as well. Plenty of Christmas decorations as well. I am glad that she has an awesome family that I can actually enjoy hanging around and being myself. They are always so kind and I enjoyed being able to extend my Christmas by spending time with them inside of her home.

Hive account@flowerbaby's dog Juno does not enjoy posing for photos. Thankfully I was still able to capture this one of the two together in front of the lit Christmas tree. They are a pretty cute duo, I cannot even lie.

Now that Christmas week is over and my brother is back in Pennsylvania, it is time for me to get back to work. I have a lot of catching up to do with my upcoming posts and I look forward to everything new that I have to come.

We actually have matching sweatshirts thanks to her. It is the official Hive account@daltono logo that was designed by Hive account@baptisttadg. I am so happy to finally be able to wear this logo when I go places. I am still just as obsessed with the design as I was when I first received the final images from Baptistta. The color on this shirt is so bright and it looks amazing in person.
