La ventaja de hacer paseos ¨fotográficos¨:  es contar con fotografías de los lugares donde caminamos para compartir con personas que saben apreciar el esfuerzo que significa contar con "material" fotográfico. Si bien me encantan los paseos que hacemos por el microcentro de la ciudad, cuando se trata de conseguir fotografías para un análisis científico, no hay mejor lugar que la ¨reserva¨: 

The advantage of taking "photographic" walks is having photographs of the places we walk to share with people who appreciate the effort involved in having photographic "material". En la copa de un árbol de ¨ambay¨:  posaba plácidamente un ave preciosa de una ¨especie¨:  muy conocida en esta zona del mundo, cuyo especial atractivo es la combinación y el color de sus plumas. Más adelante, sobre la rama de un árbol que no alcancé a identificar, hallé un precioso ¨nido¨:  de un ¨ave¨:  que se destaca por ser uno de los mejores constructores de nidos en esta región del mundo. Este tipo de nidos no lo vemos muy seguido y cuando lo hacemos disfrutamos mucho.

In the crown of an "ambay": tree, a beautiful bird of a "species": species well known in this part of the world, whose special appeal lies in the combination and color of its feathers, perched peacefully. Further on, on the branch of a tree I couldn't identify, I found a beautiful "nest": of a "bird": that stands out for being one of the best nest builders in this region of the world. We don't see these kinds of nests very often, and when we do, we enjoy them immensely.

Después de disfrutar la belleza natural que tenía la reserva esperando por mí, era momento de continuar con mi caminata. ¨científica¨: , y no pasó mucho tiempo en hacer el próximo "descubrimiento"; se trata de algo que para algunos les resulta confuso. Muchas personas identifican a esta ¨hermosura¨:  como "huevo" de "ranas", algo totalmente alejado de la realidad, dado que se trata de huevos de ¨caracoles¨:  Estos ejemplares en algunas partes del mundo son considerados como plagas.

After enjoying the natural beauty Since the reservation was waiting for me, it was time to continue my walk. ¨científica¨: , and it wasn't long before I made the next "discovery"; it's something that some people find confusing. Many people identify this "beauty": as "frog" eggs, which is completely far from the truth, since they are the eggs of "snails":. These specimens are considered pests in some parts of the world.

Esta es una preciosa planta de ¨plátano¨: y la verdad es que no es la primera vez que los veo, hace algún tiempo vengo siguiendo su evolución porque me gustaría fotografiar cuando florece, e incluso cuando su flor se abre dando el fruto. Pero por el tiempo que vengo siguiendo su evolución, creo que no lo voy a poder hacer, dado que la planta no evoluciona, y creo que se trata de que en el lugar donde está le llega muy poco el rayo del sol. Por todas estas hermosas experiencias que vivo en este lugar, es que cada semana disfruto mucho; me encanta visitar la reserva y descubrir nuevas especies.

This is a beautiful "banana" plant, and the truth is, it's not the first time I've seen them. I've been following their development for some time now because I'd like to photograph them when they bloom, and even when the flower opens and produces fruit. But because of how long I've been observing their development, I don't think I'll be able to, since the plant doesn't evolve, and I think it's because it gets very little sunlight where it grows. It's because of all these wonderful experiences I have here that I enjoy every week so much; I love visiting the reserve and discovering new species.
