Aquí nos encontramos en un nuevo hermoso parque botánico en Lisboa, Portugal, donde podemos aprender nuevas especies de plantas y relajarnos respirando aire fresco en compañía de la naturaleza, un lugar perfecto para ir en familia o en caso de que desees conectar con la naturaleza haciendo unas caminatas terapéuticas; este lugar también es perfecto para este tipo de ocasiones.

Access to the park is very easy; in this area of Lisbon called Lumiar, there are many metro stations that allow you to be close to the park; there are also several buses that pass near the park, so in terms of access, there is no problem visiting the place.
As for the entrance fee, it is very affordable for adults and children under 12; it costs 3 euros, almost the price of a Coca-Cola. So, in terms of cost, don't worry because it is very affordable. In addition, this park has several sections to visit, including costume exhibitions, a botanical area, a lake, and the palace.
Quinta do Monteiro-Mor: I believe that the palace here is not yet open to visitors; you can take photos around it and visit the gardens, but the palace itself is not yet fully open to the public; some areas have been transformed into museums, such as the theater museum. This palace was rebuilt by Joaquim Cabeça Padrão, because in 1970 it was completely destroyed by fire. In 1985, Vítor Pavão dos Santos opened this place to the public, with many of its areas converted into museums and exhibitions.

El acceso al parque es muy fácil; en esta zona de Lisboa llamada Lumiar, tiene muchas estaciones de metro que te permiten estar cerca del parque; también hay distintos autobuses que pasan cerca del parque, así que en cuanto a accesos no hay ningún problema en visitar el lugar.
En cuanto al precio de la entrada, es muy económico para adultos y menores de hasta 12 años; tiene un valor de 3 euros, casi el precio de una Coca-Cola. Así que en cuanto a valores, no te preocupes porque es muy económico y, además, este parque tiene varias secciones de visitas, tiene unas exhibiciones de trajes, área botánica, lago y el palacio.
Quinta do Monteiro-Mor: El palacio de este lugar me parece que todavía no tiene acceso permitido para visitantes; puedes tomarle fotos alrededor y visitar los jardines, pero el palacio todavía no se encuentra abierto al público en su totalidad; algunas zonas fueron transformadas en museos, como el museo de teatro. Este palacio fue reconstruido por Joaquim Cabeça Padrão, porque en 1970 este palacio quedó totalmente destruido por un incendio. En 1985, Vítor Pavão dos Santos inauguró este lugar al público, donde muchas de sus zonas fueron transformadas en museos y exhibiciones.

Ficus benghalensis: Bengal fig, strangler fig, or strangler fig: this tree has many names around the world, so any of these will let you know which species I am talking about. This species is native to Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka. This tree species can grow so large that it can cover acres, and its bark begins to create several trunks, creating a kind of illusion of vines around it. So, if you want to plant this species and you have another tree nearby, it may end up leaning on the other tree.

Acanthus: Another species from tropical countries can be found in this park. There are more than 300 species in this group; they are famous for their healing properties, meaning they are used in traditional medicine to treat diarrhea, colds, bronchitis, hemorrhoids, and vaginitis. The leaves and roots of the plant are usually used to prepare remedies.

Bergenia. Popularly known as elephant ear due to the appearance of its leaves, or also by its other popular name, winter cabbage, it is a plant that is very resistant to low temperatures. Its leaves often change color; they can turn reddish, and in spring it blooms with a beautiful pink or purple flower, which is often used for floral decorations because of its beauty.

Ficus benghalensis: Higuera de Bengala, mata palo o la estranguladora: este árbol tiene muuuuchos nombres conocidos por el mundo, así que cualquiera de estos te hará saber de cuál especie te estoy hablando. Esta especie es de origen Bangladesh, India y Sri Lanka. Esta especie de árbol puede crecer de un tamaño tan grande que puede cubrir hectáreas, y su corteza comienza a crear varios troncos, haciendo una especie de ilusión de lianas a su alrededor. Es familia de los higos y se le conoce con el nombre de estranguladora porque se apoya en otras plantas, pudiendo asfixiar en el árbol en el que reposa; así que si quieres sembrar esta especie y tienes otro árbol cerca, es posible que termine apoyándose en el otro árbol.

Acanthus: Otra especie de países tropicales se encuentra en este parque. Existen más de 300 especies de este grupo; son famosas porque tienen propiedades curativas, o sea, se utilizan en la medicina tradicional para tratar diarreas, catarro, bronquitis, hemorroides o vaginitis. Se suelen utilizar las hojas y raíces de la planta para preparar los curativos.
Bergenia. Conocido popularmente como oreja de elefante debido al aspecto de sus hojas, o también por su otro nombre popularmente conocido, que sería repollo de invierno, es una planta muy resistente a bajas temperaturas. Sus hojas suelen cambiar de colores; pueden tomar un color rojizo y en primavera florece una hermosa flor de un color rosa, morado, que suele utilizarse para decoraciones florales por lo hermosa que es.
