In this challenge by , round 103 I wanted to present a manifesto regarding the diary industry. Cows in the dairy industry suffer their whole lives. Not only are they separated from their calves too early, but they also have the same fate as those in the meat industry. A cow's natural lifespan of up to 25 years but they are slaughtered when their milk production declines.
And they are transported long distances in small boxes and when they reach their destination they are shot in the head, to render them unconscious and then they meet their too early end.
They are more than just numbers.
Of course the cows in the picture we were given this round are most happy cows, but I just wanted to raise awareness regarding the common process in the diary industry.
