Today my daughter wasn't at home, she was out and about adventuring and I decided I needed to do something different after finishing up a job that I've been working on since October last year.
I don't drink so there would be no champers to celebrate having finally completed this job and it felt a bit like a hollow victory. I spoilt myself with a bubblebath (with extra bath salts) and then needed to clear my head of the week's "junk". It was happenstance that I came across this round of Let's Make a Collage in Trending and after thinking that the thingy in the picture looks a lot like a periscope, I decided I'd smash together some stuff for a collage. I actually got so sucked into trimming and pasting that I forgot my dinner in the over and it burnt to a crisp. Lol, crispy spaghetti bolognaise. It was still super tasty.
Lory (my daughter) is going through a bit of a Jurassic Park phase at the moment and it seems to have rubbed off on me. The photo of the Triceratops came from the LIL library, thanks to for that one. Can you see the baby dino there? Aw so cute!

I laughed out loud when I was able to actually find a yellow submarine on Pixabay, it was a bit bizarre really so I had to use it. If the four beatles weren't totally copyrighted, I would have them marching across the lake to their sub like on their album cover of Abbey Road, but alas, I wasn't going to take that chance.

The other dinos came from my own photo taken at the Kirstenbosch botanical garden of a dinosaur exhibit in their prehistoric plants section.

So this is the image that I put together before running it through Deep Dream Generator.
I used some extra brushes in Adobe Photoshop to add the sky effects and the sun reflecting on the windows. I was going for an 'otherworldly' kinda look. Once I ran it through Deep Dream Generator it was far more to my liking. Apocalyptic Yellow Submarinosaurus.
If I was in that sub, I'd skidaddle out of there, that one dino seems way too interested. Down bubble ... Dive Dive Dive. Turn on the front lights. Hmmm it's quite pretty and peaceful down here under the water, maybe I'll show you in the next collage challenge.
