Hello everyone,
I forgot to submit my entry for this round on time. The collage had actually been finished three or four days ago, but once again, I forgot to share it with all of you. Still, I wanted to take this opportunity to present it in this post.
To be honest, I’ve been struggling to find ideas that truly capture my interest lately. This piece is the result of several attempts after reworking the design multiple times, a process that was quite mentally draining — and realizing that I missed the submission window only added to that frustration. It felt like a complete set of small mishaps all at once. But that’s alright, at least I still have the chance to share it here.
Amid the clutter in my thoughts, I tried to construct a collage titled “Calm.” In this work, the color red appears as a disruptive element, creating tension, while green, yellow, and white act as balancing forces within an otherwise chaotic space. Through this contrast, I wanted to express how calmness is not always the absence of disturbance, but something that emerges from balance within disorder.
Thank you for taking the time to view and read.
