Hello, LMAC friends and fellow Hivers!

I hope your days have been going well, or at least gently enough to get through one step at a time. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about time, growth, and how everyone seems to move through life at their own pace. From a small moment I found in my garden this morning, I was reminded that life doesn’t always have to move fast to mean something.

This morning, while checking on the plants in my backyard garden, I found a small snail hiding beneath a flower pot still damp from last night’s rain. Its shell looked dull, and it barely moved at all unless you looked closely.

I stopped for a few minutes just to watch it. Strange, maybe, but there was something calming about the way it moved. Slow, quiet, completely unbothered by how long it might take to get somewhere.

In a world that feels faster every day, seeing a tiny snail on a quiet morning felt like a small reminder. Lately, life has felt like it’s moving too quickly. So many people seem far ahead already, finding careers they love, building new relationships, or simply becoming the kind of person they always wanted to be.

Meanwhile, I still feel like I’m trying to catch up with too many things at once. Some days, just making it through without feeling completely exhausted already feels like enough.

Maybe that’s why I kept watching the snail.
It kept moving, even slowly. It didn’t care whether anyone noticed it or not. It wasn’t trying to move faster than it could. It simply kept going, little by little.

And the more I thought about it, the more I realized people are not that different. We often feel left behind just because someone else seems to be moving faster. But everyone has their own timing. Some things take longer to understand. Some wounds do not heal overnight. Some dreams grow quietly without us even realizing it.

From that small snail, I ended up finding the inspiration for the collage I made this time. I wanted to capture that quiet feeling of moving slowly through life while still continuing forward. The calmness, the silence, and the invisible progress we often fail to notice in ourselves.

Eventually, the snail crawled out from beneath the pot and made its way across the wet soil, leaving behind a thin trail that was almost invisible. Small and simple, yet enough to prove that it had come that far.

Maybe life is like that too.
It’s not always about how quickly we arrive somewhere, but about continuing to move, even during seasons when everything feels slow.
