Esta semana estoy encantado con el resultado final de mi trabajo, creo que es armonioso y balanceado. Transmite paz, predominan los colores apagados, excepto en el caracol que con su amarillo adquiere protagonismo en la escena.

Those who follow me already know that I always start by removing the sky. Not that I have anything in particular against skies, they are monotonous and flat. By replacing it I get a striking change without changing the structure of the image.

Sometimes I put an eye as if it were a star in the sky. This time I wanted to go a little further. I found what appeared to be an... ox? A cow? Something from that family of animals. But when I placed it it felt right so I built from there.

Los que me siguen ya saben que siempre comienzo removiendo el cielo. No es que tenga nada en particular en contra de los cielos, son monótonos y planos. Reemplazándolo consigo un cambio impactante sin modificar la estructura de la imagen.

En ocasiones puse un ojo como si fuese un astro en el cielo. Esta vez quise ir un poco más allá. Encontré lo que parecía ser un… buey? Una vaca? Algo de esa familia de animales. Pero cuando lo coloque se sintió correcto así que fui construyendo a partir de allí.

While the work flowed, there were some things that I was relocating and even removing. I've been exploiting the spiritual, the mystical and the ethereal. It's not that I'm a believer in the immaterial, but it's more entertaining than the material.

I find the floating book conceptually interesting and the image is beautiful and melancholic. I added a shadow to make its floatiness more noticeable.

Si bien el trabajo fluyó, hubo algunas cosas que fui reubicando y hasta removiendo. Vengo explotando lo espiritual, lo místico y lo etéreo. No es que sea un creyente de lo inmaterial, pero es más entretenido que lo material.

El libro flotante me parece conceptualmente interesante y la imagen es bella y melancólica. Le agregue una sombra para hacer su flotabilidad más notoria.

I felt that the left side of the image needed something to compensate for the monk. So I used a statue that I had already used in another design. A beautiful statue, also in a cross legged position.

Sentí que la parte izquierda de la imagen necesitaba algo para compensar al monje. Asi que utilice una estatua que ya había utilizado en otro diseño. Una bellisima estatua, también en posición de piernas cruzadas.
