This was the original image... the tones are cool ... the sun is low in latitude and in the sky, so it could be late fall or early spring... the fields are not quite in their finest green... so, I left it ambiguous, and didn't brighten it up too much...
I was unhappy with that sad patch of evergreens on the upper left, so I replaced them with some autumnish deciduous evergreens that can lose their leaves and look like the bare tree with the conifer shape, center right...
... then decided those sheep needed somewhere with water to go to, because all Sunday School teachers like myself that if sheep are not lying down in green pastures, they should be led by still water, so provided from the LIL...
A few autumn leaves floated in from my fractal collections...
... along with two water lilies of the same fractal family in my collection, but in different colors...
The final touch was to take one of the sheep from the back of the photo and blow it up and put it at the water's edge... first to make it to the lake!
