Save The Trees- Let's Make A Collage Round 142

Greetings LMAC community. I guess I could not say no to this round's challenge.
For this week's challenge, the main component is a minimalistic image of a white sailboat with its sails down in the middle of the deep blue sea... a lot of open space.
The open space means a lot of space for the imagination to play with.

The first thing that came into my mind... Blue whales... but my imagination started going wild! I thought of sea monsters and mermaids...
As I searched for other images to use... my imagination took over... until I came up with this.

A Picture Paints A Thousand Words

A picture can say a lot. Whenever I create a character or a scene there is always a story behind that character or scene.

Sometimes though, a story is built along as I make my illustration just as I was creating this collage.

Initially, I was thinking of a boat stranded in the middle of the sea surrounded by gigantic deep-sea creatures... But when I saw the image of the tree in a broken fishbowl or snow globe, the story changed.

Why Save The Trees?

Why did I title this "Save the trees?". I will just give you a hint and perhaps let your imagination create your own story...
The Earth is flooded after the polar ice melts.

Maybe I will share my story next time, somewhere. Care to share yours?
