For the Let's Make a Collage ("LMAC") Round 164 this week, the focus is on member contributions to the LMAC Image Database, the LIL. Only entries containing images from the LIL, together with the entrant's own images will be considered as valid for participation this week. This is exciting news. It provides all member of the Community to acquaint themselves with the huge inventory of images that members contributed to the database.
I already utilize numerous images from the LIL, but I must admit I use the same images I've discovered so far in nearly all my collage themes. This week actually was a great idea, as it forced me to look for images in the database I'd normally consider from outside free sources.
I'm off to scour the database for a female image for my theme "Ladies of the Pond".
In my theme, images of ladies were discovered in the forest in a small body of water. No one knows the origin of the ladies or their purpose. Mysterious lights glow upon them. It's rumored the lights come to protect the ladies from harm and warm the water where they reside. The dense forest also provide cover from predators.
To create the setting, I started with the photograph provided by in his contest post: LIL-Only Special: Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 164 - ✨134 HIVE in the Prize Pool!

I utilized the entire contest photo in this scene. All I needed was a body of water to be placed on the edge of the trees. For the ladies, I located an image by that fit perfectly for my scene.
I uploaded the contest photo and all images from the LIL, together with my own fractal art into Canva to take advantage of my Annual Pro Membership Subscription. There, I blended the images into the landscape scenery after removing the background skyline of the contest photo.
