Of Dreams and Desires | LET'S MAKE A COLLAGE: ROUND #144 (Complimentary)

It's time for Let's Make a Collage ("LMAC") again. This week, members are provided another nice landscape image near the shoreline. I've created two collage themes in the magical realm to portray this setting. To create the themes, I started with the photograph provided by Hive account@shaka in his contest post: @lmac/lets-make-a-collage-a-contest-for-all-creatives-on-hive-round-144-138-hive-in-the-prize-pool.

COLLAGE #1: *Wyneth's Waterfall Dreams

In my first collage, a young girl swings in the sky just high enough to spread her feet and create ripples in the water. It's a magical setting in which I decided to add an ethereal background I created with stable diffusion. In the moonlight, Wyneth dreams of her future while swinging. No particular thoughts in mind as she sits alone. But she's not alone as an angel is hoovering overhead and hears her wishes.

To create the theme, I located a beautiful image of a young girl. Adding the stable diffusion images I created in StarryAI named "Hope in the Cold" gave this scene its magical quality. Another stable diffusion program, Night Cafe was used to create the "Winged Angel". The images as always from LIL add a unique look to my scenes. I enjoy using the members' images. I uploaded both the contest photo and all images into Canva to utilize my Annual Pro Membership Subscription.

COLLAGE #2: A Lonely Girl's Desires

In my second collage theme, I wanted to portray another young girl confronted with choices as she dreams of her future. Either one can fulfill her wishes as she leaves her home each night to explore both. To be in touch with the upper and lower elements of the world is her wish. She imagines herself able to command the animals in the sky as well as in the sea. Which one does she desire most. A difficult choice indeed.

To create the collage, I located an image of a girl staring into the stars. As an offset, I wanted to portray the concept of looking into the depth of the water. Two dreams are are play. Again, I uploaded both the contest photo and all images into Canva. The images from the LIL I found help to create lovely scenes as the girl imagines riding the backs of both bird and fish.
