Hello everyone and welcome back to Let's Make a Collage ("LMAC"). This week in LMAC, we're presented with another awesome landscape. This time with water and buildings. Let's see what I accomplished with four themes. To create the settings, I started with the photograph provided by in his contest post: Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 119 - ✨185 HIVE in the Prize Pool!.

Below are my three collages.
COLLAGE #1: "Wonders In and Beyond the Waters"
In my first collage, I wanted to create a lovely forest scene that could also connect to the water in the contest photo. I located a unique rock design in LIL by that served as the base for the ballerinas as they danced on the water. Enhancing the image at Deep Dream Generator turned out nice in a colorful blend of rocks.
I feel the images I combined in my theme created a lovely forest and water setting. By removing the building and other features in the contest photo, I was able to concentrate on just the water and trees for the landscape.

COLLAGE #2: "Water's Kiss" (A POEM)
For my second collage, I discovered this free image of a lady dressed in deep red sitting atop a scaffold. One look, and I knew what fate had dealt her. I hope my theme and poem reflects her sorrow.
"Water's Kiss"
I blame you.
For the distance.
For the emptiness.
For the loneliness.
I blame you.
For embracing Her love.
For desiring Her depths.
For preferring Her salty kiss.
I blame you.
Because you left behind a seed
sprouting each day,
that will forever miss you too;
that will forever wonder why,
you chose to abandon him;
you chose to abandon us.
I blame you.
For sacrificing us for the call of the waters.
For ignoring Her warnings of peril.
For your selfishness; your weaknesses.
For succumbing to Her siren's voice.
I blame you.
As I sit here, I see you, but can't touch.
Timeless.
Waiting for your voice's return,
as it sails in on the murky, cresting waves.
I see the bottomless dwelling,
you chose to call home.
My anguish cast upon your water's kiss.
I blame you.
Even though She cried out your name.
For She only accepted,
what you were foolishly willing to give,
and ventured into.
I blame you.
As you come seeking compassion.
You took all I had.
Left me with nothing more to give.
I must save the rest for him.
And when he asks, I'll say:
I blame you; and only you.
The images for this theme were only a few as I wanted the focus to be on the couple supposed having a conversation.

COLLAGE #3: "Out Of The Waters"
In my third collage, I couldn't resist the temptation to go dark. My theme is one of choice. When one chooses the unknown instead of the familiar, it's not a guarantee that all will go well. Such was the case for the young lady who's a thrill seeker. She's not sure she wants to go down that path, but can't resist temptation to discover what's on the other side of darkness.
To create the collage, I again blended the images in Canva I was pleased with how the background image I found of the skill went well with the water scene.

COLLAGE #4: "Water Players or Playing In the Water"
My fourth collage is different from any themes I've attempted. Normally, I don't add others building. However, in searching the LIL for an appropriate image, I noticed an awesome image from the LIL by . I liked the building's angle perspective. It seemed perfect for the unusual street corner I envisioned.
Also, I wanted to see how a pool of water in the middle of the street would fit in. That's when I thought of arranging different events in the water. Pool players gather, together with a bird having fun. In creating the background for the city street, I removed the tall building in the contest photo and replaced it with 's building.
To blend all the images used, I uploaded them, together with the contest image, in to Canva to utilize my Annual Pro Membership Subscription.
