The goddess of the eye acts as companion, mother, sister, and daughter of the Sun God, creating total harmony wherever she is. The peaceful atmosphere is adorned with water lilies, a symbol reflecting regeneration and enlightenment. Likewise, the scarab beetle in this context represents life, death, good fortune, transformation, growth, and recreation. This was one of the important amulets placed on the hearts of mummies to protect them on their journey to the afterlife. Meanwhile, the winged sun symbolizes power, protection, and eternity, representing an aspect of Horus, the ancient Egyptian deity known as the god of the sky, war, and hunting.
