One day in December of the year 2021 at approximately midnight my wife, my daughter and I could not sleep, we heard many meows, it was as if a baby was crying, we went down from our apartment to the back of the building, and we found a small kitten which we did not calculate more than 20 days old, she had been abandoned and was still meowing in a very sharp manner.
Un día del mes de diciembre del año 2021 aproximadamente a la medianoche mi esposa, mi hija y yo no podiamos dormir escuchabamo muchos maullidos, era como si un bebe estuviese llorando, los tres bajamos de nuestro departamento hasta la entarda del edificio, y nos encontramos con una pequeña gatita a la cual no le calculbamos mas de 20 días de nacida, la habian abandonado y seguia maullando de una manera muy aguda.
In particular, I am not an animal lover, but this kitten managed to move me because I saw real tears in her eyes, maybe because of fear, maybe because of cold, maybe because of hunger, maybe she was missing her mother or maybe it was all this together.
En lo particular, no soy muy amante de los animales, pero esta gatita logro conmoverme ya que vi en sus ojos lágrimas reales, quizas por miedo, quizas por frio, quizas por hambre, quizas le hacia falta su mamá o quizas era todo esto junto.
We tried to help her but she was very agile and difficult to catch, until my daughter with a sheet managed to catch her, we took her up to the apartment and she immediately ran to a corner, we got a shoe box and an old sheet, we put a container with water on one side, and as we had no idea what to feed her we chopped bread into small pieces, we wet it with water and put another container with the bread.
Intentamos socorrerla pero era muy agil y dificil de agarrar, hasta que mi hija con una sabana logra atraparla, la subimos al apartamento y de inmediato corrio hacia una esquina, conseguimos una caja de zapatos y una sabana vieja, le pusimos a un lado un envase con agua, y como no teniamos ni idea que darle de comer picamos pan en pedacitos lo mojamos con agua y pusimos otro envase con el pan.
The little kitten kept meowing and looked at the three of us a lot as if she was studying us, then she approached the food containers and started to sniff them, she immediately drank water and then started to eat and devoured all the bread, not even three minutes passed and she started to do her physiological needs in the shoe box.
La pequeña gatita seguia maullando nos miraba mucho a los tres como si nos estuviese estudiando, luego se acerco a los envases de comida y empezo a olerlos de inmediato tomo agua y luego comenzo a comer y se devoro todo el pan, no pasaron ni tres minutos y ya empezo a hacer sus necesidades fisiologicas en la caja de zapatos.
After almost three months we found a very restless cat, she plays too much, hides things, breaks furniture and looks for her adoptive family to keep playing, to the point that I even dream with her and other cats, who are playing all the time, I don't know if we adopted her or she adapted to us.
Luego de casi tres meses nos encontramos con una gata muy inquieta, juega demasiado, esconde cosas, rompe muebles y busca a su familia adoptiva para seguir jugando, al punto que hasta sueño con ella y otros gatos, que andan jugando todo el tiempo, no se si nosotros la adoptamos a ella o ella nos adapto a nosotros.
