160 rounds of "Let's make a collage" - that's how long LMAC has been around and still enjoys great popularity after all these years. And it is still a great pleasure to browse through the community feed.

Herewith I share my collage for the current round. As always, I'm participating out of competition.

160 Runden "Let's make a Collage" - So lange gibt es LMAC nun schon und freut sich nach all den Jahren immer noch großer Beliebtheit. Und es ist nach wie vor, eine große Freude, im Community-Feed zu stöbern.
Schau doch auch mal rein. Auch falls du es jetzt noch nicht glaubst, bei uns könntest du den Künstler in dir entdecken.
Hiermit teile ich meine Collage für die aktuelle Runde. Nehme aber, wie immer, außer Konkurrenz teil.
About my collage
Actually, the scene shown in my collage was already there. Well, almost like it, I could already see it clearly in the template photo for round 160.
Somehow I found the romantic little piece of forest to be made for it. There was already that touch of magic in it that just needed to be accentuated a tiny little bit.
...at least that's what I thought, and I soon got started.
When I had finished my second attempt, I then was quite satisfied with the result. Actually, I wanted to bring more magic into it. But as it happens, magic is stronger in the mind than on the canvas.
So I'm only left with my hope that you can see what I intended to create. :-D
Über meine Collage
Im Grunde war die Szene, die in meiner Collage zu sehen ist, schon da. Zumindest so ähnlich, habe ich sie da schon deutlich im Vorlagen-Foto für Runde 160 gesehen.
Irgendwie fand ich das romantische kleine Stückchen Wald, wie dafür geschaffen. Es war darin bereits so eine gewisse Magie, die nur noch etwas akzentuiert werden musste.
...fand ich zumindest und legte auch alsbald los.
Nach dem zweiten Versuch, war ich schließlich einigermaßen zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Eigentlich wollte ich noch viel mehr Magie rausholen. Aber wie das nun mal so ist, ist die Magie in den Gedanken stärker als auf der Leinwand.
Ich hoffe jedenfalls, dass man erkennt, was ich vorhatte umzusetzen. :-D
Materials
These are the materials I have made use of to create my collage. Besides the images below, I also painted some details myself (shadows, lights, iron bars) and made completely new image elements from parts of these images (camel on two legs).
For the work on the collage I only used the opensource image editor GIMP.

Materialien
Dies sind die Materialien die ich zum Erstellen meiner Collage verwendet habe. Neben den unten aufgeführten Bildern, habe ich auch Details selbst gemalt (Schatten, Lichter, Gitterstäbe) und komplett Neues aus Teilen der Bilder gemacht (Kamel auf zwei Beinen).
Ich habe für die komplette Arbeit an der Collage, das opensource Bildbearbeitungsprogramm GIMP verwendet.

What is LMAC?
LMAC is a great community for artists of all skill levels. The name of the community is an abbreviation and stands for "Let's make a collage".
Just take a look. Even if you think you are not an artist, LMAC will probably prove you wrong.

Are you a good photographer and would like to contribute some nice good quality photos in exchange for good votes and tribute?
We are currently building our own photo/image library that we can use as a image source for our collages, but also every Hiver beyond LMAC is very welcome to use the images in it.
Was ist LMAC?
LMAC ist eine großartige Community für Künstler jeder Erfahrungebene. Deren Name ist eine Abkürzung von "Let's make a collage" (Lass uns eine Collage machen).

Wir bauen zur Zeit unsere eigene Foto/Bilder-Bibliothek auf, die wir für unsere Collagen als Bilder-Quelle nutzen können und aus welcher sich auch jeder Hiver ausserhalb von LMAC, sehr gerne bedienen darf.
