El dia de hoy las presento mi participacion en el presente concurso de esta gran comunidad, esta vez creando algunos gatos sirenas reposando a las orillas de un acantilado, uno de los primeras ediciones fotograficas las hice durante el transcurso de mi carrera universitaria, mi asignacion en aquellaa oportunidad fue la de crear un hipocampo, criatura mitologica giega cuya mitad de su cuerpo corresponde a un caballo y la otra mitad pez, en esta oportunidad quise hacer algo parecido, pero esta vez la mitad de arriba con un gato en lugar de un caballo.

Today I present my participation in the present contest of this great community, this time creating some mermaid cats resting on the banks of a cliff, one of the first photographic editions I did during the course of my university career, my assignment at that time was to create a hippocampus, a mythological Greek creature whose half of his body corresponds to a horse and the other half fish, this time I wanted to do something similar, but this time the top half with a cat instead of a horse.

Lo primero fue buscar los elementos para construir la nueva criatura, de la LIL tome un gato sentado y el parte de la cola de pixabay, a los que anteriormente retire el fondeo, luego ajuste los tamaños los coloque juntos y recorte la pare superior del pez y la parte trasera del gato.

The first thing was to find the elements to build the new creature, from the LIL take a sitting cat and the tail part from pixabay, to which I previously removed the anchor, then adjust the sizes place them together and cut out the top part of the fish and the back part of the cat.

Una vez hice esto, recorte algunas áreas de las escamas del pez y las duplique sobre el cuerpo del gato para hacer una transición mas realista entre ambas criaturas, también coloque algunas de estas escamas y aletas en las patas superiores del felino.

Once I did this, I cut out some areas of the fish's scales and duplicated them on the cat's body to make a more realistic transition between the two creatures, I also placed some of these scales and fins on the feline's upper legs.

Luego procedí a modificar el follaje del fondo, agregue algunos elementos como lunas y unos cuantos filtros de color, pero me parecía que aun estaba muy vació así que hice una segunda sirena esta vez casi completamente sumergido, solo son su cara sobresaliendo del agua, agregue algunas escamas sobre su cabeza y dibuje las ondas producidas en el agua.

Then I proceeded to modify the background foliage, added some elements like moons and a few color filters, but I felt it was still too empty so I made a second mermaid this time almost completely submerged, only her face sticking out of the water, added some scales on her head and drew the waves produced in the water.

Siempre disfruto creando nuevas criaturas tomando dos animales completamente diferentes y esta no ha sido la excepción, adore totalmente esta sirenas, espero que también hayan sido de su agrado.

I always enjoy creating new creatures by taking two completely different animals and this one was no exception, I absolutely adore these mermaids, I hope you liked them too.
