First of all Happy Navratri to all
This year the Navratri starts from the 17th of October and end on 25th of October.
Navratri is start of festival season in India....
Navratri means Nine Nights. Those Nine nights and Ten Days were dedicated to the Nine Avatars of Goddess Durga.
The festival is celebrated as victory of Good over Evil. Devi Durga battle with demon Mahisasur and kill the demon.
After nine days the tenth day is celebrated as Dussehra.
The Durga Puja in West Bengal is one of the main attraction during Navratri.
You can find a number of Pandals where the people warship the Devi Durga.
Covid19 changes almost everything and the effect of Covid19 can be seen in padals this year.
During the lock down the many people migrant from their working place to their origin place.
The pandal, organised by Barisha Club Durga Puja committee in Kolkata, West Bengal features a migrant worker mother in place of the goddess.
The artist very creatively represent the situation.
