I have thought a lot about whether to write about this topic or not, because it has particularly affected me more than I thought, and the reasons will be explained in the development of this publication which I believe will be longer than what I usually write in the PH community.
Of course, I won't get to the 3000 words of
, I don't want to bore you, since not everyone enjoys the hilarity of this new member of the PH family he he he, but, I will do my best not to bore you at all, I assure you.
We know that the world is in a very difficult situation, the seams of the system are more and more notorious and there is no doubt that a radical change is needed, things as they are happening show that the world is bad, and not precisely because of the Covid.19 No, neither because the economy is at a breaking point, but because for a long time money has been put above humanity, because for many people the color of their skin can be used to make a social classification, because a nationality already makes them marked in one way or another, because some simply insist on not considering us equal. No, neither because the economy is at a breaking point, but because for a long time money has been put above humanity, because for many people the color of their skin can be used to make a social classification, because a nationality already makes them marked in one way or another, because some simply insist on not considering us equal.
When we are children we are very sensitive, human, and in that process of formation (which seems more like deformation) they change us that good, that pure humanity with which we were born...
Recently something truly atrocious happened in the United States, the death of A HUMAN BEING, and note that I highlight those two words, because that vision is missing, to see us all as human beings, we are a part of this world in which we are all living together, animals, plants, rocks, mountains, all being part of the same planet.
The moment that distinction is made by racices or nationalities I think a big problem begins. Be careful, at this point it is important to emphasize that some classifications are necessary to know, for example, if an age or racial group is more prone to certain diseases, I am a "doctor" and I know this very well, but this should not be an excuse to say "Latinos are thieves" or "Germans are Nazis", NO, it SHOULD NOT BE.
Taking up what happened in the United States of America in which a police officer, being recorded, murdered a man, a human being. I want to emphasize that in my opinion it could have been a human being killed with dark skin, the crime would have been the same, because finally we are all human beings.
Now, in this case it was a human being of African descent, it has provoked worldwide indignation, without a doubt, it is something that should not have happened. But it did happen, at the very moment in history when sensitivities are on the surface, and there is a worldwide situation of frustration because the pandemic has made the poor poorer and the richer Failures of the system, which is undoubtedly in chaos, and it is evident that the reality is that states cannot continue to be run as they have been up to now. It doesn't work for everyone but a few.
It is well known that the African continent has generally been neglected by the great world authorities, both in health, economic and educational matters, in short, the world owes a lot to that continent, even more if we consider that strong theories affirm that the human race originated there, in AFRICA. So, we all have part of that continent in us. Their ancient culture is everywhere, which is a good thing.
Particularly, in my country, Venezuela, I knew nothing of racism, LUCK YOU HAVE BEEN BORN IN MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY, where we are simply human beings, not white, black, or anything else that divides. In the image on the right, from my personal album, a photo from more than 10 years ago, my grandparents and me. My grandmother is still alive, my grandfather passed away two years ago, one of the most important people in my life, even if he is not physically alive, he still is. We all live together without racial or national prejudices. I insist: Lucky I was born in my beautiful country, Venezuela.
I did not know about xenophobia either, I lived with many friends of different nationalities, and without a doubt, when I left the country, when I emigrated and lived in Colombia, a country of the same origin as mine, I knew what xenophobia is, I knew that word in letters and in action. I think it is absurd that this should happen. But it is reality, and that is why I say, the world is bad, and it is not because of the Covid-19, nor because of the economic collapse, but Because of the lack of humanity, especially among the powerful, of course.
If humanity were to prevail, the world would be a totally different one from the one we know, where many migrants would not be afraid to say that they are of a certain nationality for fear of being rejected, nor would we have racial hate crimes, like the one that unfortunately has happened, and it is a regrettable fact, just to think that my grandfather, who really was my dad could have gone through something similar, makes me feel bad, sad, and it affects me, so I cannot be willing to tolerate any racism, xenophobia or anything like that.
Project.Hope was born with a purpose, to help a few Venezuelans, but, little by little it has been increasing the possibility of helping as many as possible, without distinction of race, color, nationality, sex, gender, or any of those many classifications that in the end have served basically to separate what by natural law should be united, only to help human beings, who live in the same world, with the same needs.
We must truly thank for being together with
from the beginning great visionaries, who have been able together with
,
and the rest of the PH team to take it as far as it has come, imagine a world in which as in this community, we work together for the good of all, and that everyone is benefited, without distinction of any kind.
It may be utopian what I say, but dreaming and imagining costs nothing.
Come on, I'll say goodbye, I think I've gone much further than I thought... Let's continue to humanize ourselves, humanize humans, it's necessary, more and more. Yes, it sounds paradoxical and even redundant, but I think it's part of what's needed.
So:
Let's humanize humans...
I invite you to visit Project.hope and learn about the benefits of this project for all those interested in growing while helping others to grow.
